My name is Pablo Meilicke and I am the founder of Red Maple Physical Therapy. I earned my physical therapy degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
As a physical therapist, I worked in a variety of settings during my 10+ years of experience in private orthopedic clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, public schools and dance companies.
I have completed extensive coursework with the Institute of Physical Art in functional manual therapy and its philosophy of evaluation and treatment permeates the clinical approach in our office.
During my professional career, I had the opportunity to train with several highly respected institutions that focused on the physical rehabilitation of dancers, including:
I also have had the privilege of working with professional dancers / dance companies, choreographers, ballet masters, figure skaters, participants of the Prix de Lausanne, students at the School of the Bolshoi Theater, School of American Ballet (SAB), Houston Ballet Academy, National Ballet of Paraguay, Classic and Modern Municipal Ballet of Asunción, Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur and others.
I am a lover of the art of dance and am myself a recreational Salsa/Latin dancer. I look forward to providing skilled services to the performing arts community in the city!
We are currently operating with one patient in the clinic at a time.
Masks are required to enter and a brief COVID 19 screen and temperature checks will be performed prior beginning of service.
